Feet in Straps Like a Pilates Pro

Do you struggle getting into feet in straps? Don’t worry, we have all the tips to help you move like a Pilates pro.

  • Begin by laying back on the carriage and placing your feet onto the footbar. Carefully remove the loops and hold them in your hands.

  • Bend one knee into your chest, engaging your core to keep your back down, wrap one of your big loops over the arch of your foot.

  • Engaging your core still, begin to wrap the big loop around the arch of the opposite foot and plant your tailbone heavy to the carriage.

  • Begin to shift your pelvis into neutral (pubic bone level with hip bones) and extend your arms by your side to the carriage.

  • Slowly stack your feet over your hip bones while keeping your core activated and tailbone to the carriage.
